I have a 1992 Subaru Justy, 5 speed, 4WD that has lost it's front driving wheels but still has the rear wheels driving it.
I am told that it may just be a pin that has fallen out and a gear that has dropped. There may be an access plate to get at these parts and replace them for an inexpensive fix. Does any of this ring true to you?

The only pin that i can think of is in the inner drive shaft but this is also splined, so i am unsure as to what they are refering to,there is no access in the box for any pin,
