1992 saturn

I have a 1992 Saturn SC coupe automatic that comes out of gear, along with the service engine light and the shift to D2 light coming on. I have replaced the transaxle thinking that was the problem, but the same thing is happening with this one. should i be looking for a bad relay or solenoid? HELP

So you replaced the entire transmission?I have seen bad alternator's turn on that shift to D2 light on those early saturn's it would also cause the transmission to slip in and out of gear.I would test the alternator and battery also make sure the battery cable's are clean tight.let me know what you find and we will go from there.
