enter your question...i was wondering if a 1982 5 speed transmission from a 22ru toyota engine would be compatible with a 1992 2.4l gm grand am engine

The engines are about the same size im not very literate with engines but can u explain y it wouldnt work

the toyota engine is also a 4 cylinder but its a smaller size its a 2.1l i do believe

Match up tranny bolt pattern from the 2.2 5speed to the 2.4l GM engine-then you know what I'm talking about-
