throws luke warm air at idle,will only throw hot air if you rev it up,i flushed rad and heatercore replaced thermostat still the same

Are both heater core hoses getting hot? Is the coolant full and free of air blocks?

If both hoses are getting hot, then you have a problem with the blend air door. Check that.

replaced 16# rad cap with a 7# cap and got alot more heat.
