oil light stays on

own 92 olds cutlass ciera oil light comes on and off stays on when car warms up, not low on oil. I can't figure it out?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure sending unit if abnormal-could be the oil pump or engine bearings
