We just bought a new battery for our bravada and it still wont fire. it sounds like it wants to but just cant. so my husbad figured that if we put a block heater in it, it would start better. im just trying to make sure that that is the only problem with it and nothing serious.

The block heater will work if the cold oil is causing the engine to rotate too slowly to allow the engine to start. But if the starter and ignition aren't getting enough power, a block heater will have no affect.
