1992 Nissan Maxima 92 transmission issue

I have a 92 maxima with a transmission problem. Was driving one day and it's like it went into neutral. No forward or reverse. Transmission fluid is fine, not leaking, not burnt. Battery has been off so I can't get codes. What should I look at first?

You will have to check the line pressure, you may have a failed oil pump, torque converter or governor.
