I put a new motor in my car and now it won't even turn over but everything comes on do I need to reset the computer or what

If the computer in the donor vehicle and your vehicle aren't the same, your going to have trouble. Sometimes you have to get the computer from the donor vehicle as well as the engine.
I can post a starter wiring diagram, if you think that will help?

Just to add, the black wire with yellow tracer at the starter goes hot with key in the crank position. The black wire with red tracer at the starter, comes from positive battery post, hot all the time.
Any testing at the starter, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set.
