Wiper motor stopped and started smoking. Replaced with another motor, but wiper starts and stops after 2 inches. Double clicking noise near fuse box

Check near the fuse box for a bad relay. Chances are when the original motor burned up, it damaged the relay.

Could not locate a relay near fusebox. Are you sure one exists for this car? I do know that an overload relay is located in between the computer and wiper motor, but why would I hear a clicking near the fuse box? Also, the wiper motor DOES work without being connected to wiper arm. To be sure I had everything lined up, I ran the motor for one cycle and made sure I installed the arm while the wiper was in the "off" position.

I believe the rellay you are hearing is the delay. Locate where the noise is coming from near the fuse box. If the motor is working, that is a good thing.
