I have a92 lexus sc 300 and it has a muffle sound when start the engine and it start heasate when excellarete gas do you have any idea whats going on

Several things can do it, low fuel pump pressure, tune up, clogged exhaust. Check fuel pressure with a gauge. Check for exhaust blockage with vacuum gauge. Hook up to manifold raise rpm to 2000, gauge should remain steady if it drops, exhaust is clogged (converter).
