Recently purchased. Es300 1992 without stereo are they fitted with codes if I get a second hand one. I also have oil in the air filter. Any ideas?

You can get a radio without codes or if the radio comes with code, it should be given to you.

Oil in air filter indicates heavy blowby gases and that could mean worn piston rings.
