how do i take off the fuel line with the filter attached to it?

truck will not stay running and if it does the idle is rough.

check fuel pressure first, there is a tool to disconnect the line on one or possibly both ends depending on what engine you have. it also may have a line fitting which should be 16mm on the line and 19 on filter if memeory serves me right. if you have a tbi unit fuel pressure should be 9-11 psi.

one other thing i forgot check to see if y ou have a vacuum leak under tbi unti they tend to blow gaskets there as well as the line going to map sensor gets soft and won't allow the map to work correctly. Pcv valve hose as well.
