the speedometer bounces when it is cold outside.but it quits bouncing after the car runs a while.it works fine in the summer.what could be the cause ?

Inspect and test the vehicle speed sensor and also check speedometer head-

92 not sure if that has a speedo cable which if so would tend to get sticky in the cold if not lubed properly. could try removing and oiling when weather is nice?
