224 code on 92 Mustang 2.3 l

EEC processor has detected Coil #1, 2, 3, or 4 primary circuit failure. That could be a bad coil, ignition module, related wiring or EEC problem. You'll still have to manually determine which cylinder is causing the problem because the system is not advanced enough to do that.
