How do you remove a headlight switch

How do you remove a headlight switch on a 92 F150? I understand to remove the dash trim but my real questions is how do you get the knob out of the switch to remove the dash trim?

This one appears to just have a knob that pulls off. That surprises me as I expected the button Doc referred to, also. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/42237868.gif

Hi,

I noticed that we haven't heard from you for a couple of days. Have you made any progress? Do you have any additional questions?

As far as the switch, the guys are correct. There is a button that releases the knob and stem. Simply pull straight out on the knob while you have the release button pressed.
