Whats giving driving issues.

I have a 92 for aero star, When I shift it in gear(drive reverse, Ect) it hesatates sometimes dosent shift untill I have repeated pressing the gas to move, when it tries to move it is strains.The transmission was woring fine until I moved it from one 94 Aerostar to this 92 Aerostare, Its a A4LD transmission.Both motors were 4.0s.

Have the transmission pressure tested to find out more what's going on
