I have a 1992 Ford Aerostar. When I accelerate with the air conditioner on it cuts out. When I let up on the accelerator it works again. What would be the cause of this and how would I repair it.

The tps sensor on the throttle body will shut off the ac at a certain voltage. It needs to be checked to make certain it is shutting off at the correct time. A shop can do it with a scan tool.
