What do you mean? Rings will have a tendency to move after the enign has been run. If you are using oil have the valve seals checked. Or repost the question better.

Really just don't want gaps in line. Stagger the gaps once in block they don't rotate.

Speaking from an engineering standpoint rings do move when the engine is running. High speed cameras prove that.
