where do you jumper the circuit on a 1992 Chrysler Lebaron to force the air conditioning compressor to run so I can re-charge the system?

This is the incorrect way to do a re gas, you can over charge the system and do serious damage, if you have no refrigerant you have a leak, get the system vacuumed down and do a leak test first. but if you must hot wire it, jump 12V to the compressor clutch wire.

i tried that wire and clutch did not engage, I was trying to determine whether the compressor was working or not by jumping it.

Power the magnetic clutch from the battery or jumper the low pressure switch

If the clutch is being powered-up and not engaging the compressor the magnetic clutch is defective
