trans. shifts hard from low to mid range, Need to go 30mpr before trans will shift from low to mid range and 45mpr brfore it will shift into overdrive.

There are a few things that can cause this problem. I would start by trying to scan the computer to see if there are any trouble codes stored in it. Also, it could be the shift solenoids going bad.
