1992 Chevrolet Silverado front differential

Will not come out of 4wd all the time. Front axle does not disengage. Has manual shift. Transfer case shifts. What can be cause?

See if either item in pic is getting power or not both may be on or near front axle also look for broken wires /connections etc.
