Replaced Temperature sensor and thermostat, fan constantly runs.

My 1992 Chevy K1500 PU appears to be overcooling, I have noticed that the clutch fan is constantly engaged. How do I check to ensure that the clutch fan is functioning properly?

Do you see any fluid leakage on the fan clutch? Does the fan clutch wobble by hand? IS yes to either, replace the clutch.

No wobble, no fluid leakage, truck sat for approx. 60 days while I was out of town working. Could clutch fan be stuck or ceased engaged?

Try turning the fan by hand, WITH THE ENGINE OFF. If you can't do it without turning the pulley, the clutch needs replacement.

I can turn the fan when the engine is off. If I hold the clutch part at the front of the fan blade stationary, should I still be able to free spin the fan, with the engine not running?

Not free spin, but there should be slight resistance with the engine cold and more resistance with the engine hot.

Replace the clutch. But if the fan spins too freely when cold, it won;t explain the 'over-cooling' situation. In fact, just the opposite.
