The rocker arm (front pass. side) snapped on my '92 Chevie Cavalier. How would I go about to replace this. Would one from a junk yard sufice? Should it be done at a shop? What can I do?

You should be able to do it yourself. However, I would recommend getting a new one. A used one may cause things to wear in an odd way causing new problems. It's just a matter of unbolting a few things to replace it.
