I have a question I think I have the parking brake set on. If I am trying to replace the inner tie rod would this cause the tie rod not to come off. It is a Front Wheel Drive 1992 Cadillac Deville.

The parking brake has absolutely nothing to do with steering or tie rod. Probably the jamb nut is seized

Is their a way to get it out I used vice grips and a plumbers wrench on that big gray ball and could not get it to budge. I know they make an inner tie rod tool to get it off. I want to make that my last resort.
