Hi since I am changing my ports from r12 to R134a do I have to remove the old low side schrader valve and then install the new r134a port. The new r134a ports already have the valves in it. I bought a bottle of red tek 12a the 20lb bottle that is equivlant to 60 pounds of r12. It states you have to upgrade the ports to r134a and it has to be charges in the low side as a liquid. Thanks.
