Why my engine start coming on?

After I replace a coil my engine Light start coming on and I scann the computer it had a code #26 why the engine Light start coming on?

Does your scan tool list code history data like what rpm the code set etc?That code has a lot of parts on its circuit.

Do you have a scan tool your using to read the codes?Or are you just flashing them out of the check engine light?If you had a scanner that was more advanced it shows you event details on the codes set like rpms engine temp etc.
