Im trying to fix the rack and pinion on a 1992 buick park ave. The boots were both split so im replacing them. Are the boots suppose to be full of fluid? I dont see any seals on either side

Nope. Replace the entire rack assembly. The seals that are leaking are not available separately.

If you cant see a seal then must be an o-ring? There shouldn't be any fluid in boot. It's just a dirt/rust repelling cover really.
