Is it ok to drive with the air ride suspension pump not working

You won't hurt anything on the car unless it sits so low that the tires rub. Handling and braking will be reduced. If someone else runs a red light and causes a crash, a lawyer or insurance investigator will convince a jury that you were partly at fault because you were less able to avoid it, and they will be right. Best is to have the system fixed as soon as possible.
