When starting out the car will backfire, hesitate, stumble, then feels like the car is flooded, if I put the pedal to the floor it will take off after backfiring srmbling and ETC. There is no check engine light. It's not as severe in the mornings but gets worse. I have changed the fuel filter, cleaned the MAF and throttlebody, just seems to get worse. If I floor the pedal while in Park it revs normal.

Even though there is no check engine light on, have you checked for codes? The OBD1 systems sometimes don't set the light.

Also, when was the last tune up? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?
