1992 BMW 325i - power windows and sunroof not working

I have a 1992 BMW 325i E36. The power windows and sunroof have stopped working. My husband is an ex auto electrician but he can't find the problem. I read on a forum it could be something to do with a general module. Does anyone know if that could be it and where to look for that? All fuses are OK.

Check the comfort relay below left side of instrument panel-Fuse x9 30amp okay- in front power distribution box leaft rear side of engine compartment

Thanks for the answer, It wasn't really precise but it gave me the information I needed to look for what a comfort relay is.
