1991 diesel volkswagen jetta how do you remove the ac belt? Need to replace The alternator belt which is on the inside of the ac belt.

You need to loosen the mounting bolts of the A/C compressor and then loosen the adjustment bolt so you can push the a/c compressor down enough for enough belt clearance.
