The car doesn't make a sound at all when I try to start it

I have a 1991 MR2 2.2L That I just changed out the motor in. It wont start. What could this be? It doesn't make a sound at all.

Make sure wiring from battery is clean and tight. Make sure no main fuses are blown under the hood.
