I have a toyota celica 1991, and my engine light is on, when I drive the car it doesn't accelerate properly until I hit at least 40kmut it takes ages. Another person told me it's the sensor. But I'm seeking for a second opinion and what to do?

There's lots of sensors.

The Engine Computer detected a problem, set a diagnostic fault code, and turned the Check Engine light on to tell you. The first step is to have the codes read and recorded. It's important to understand that fault codes never say to replace parts or that they're bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis, or the unacceptable operating condition.
