1991 Toyota 4runner 91 Suddenly Last Electrical Power Though Battery Cable Had

My '91 4runner suddenly last all electrical power, as though the battery cable had been disconnected. Why? The key turns freely and the battery terminals are secure and clean.

Check if there is a smaller positive battery wire going to the under-hood fuse box, and if there is a large fuse that's bolted in. Check those nuts to be sure they're tight. Also check the smaller negative wire where it bolts to the body.
