This car is stalling after driving down the road for 15miles, will restart immediately and then run for a while and then die and restart. Sometimes it restarts and then dies right away. The engine will spit sputter and die, and sometimes dies right now while going down the road. If you put the car in neutral you can sometimes keep it running. It seems to do this when it is really warm and humid outside. It has coded the code 25. which has to do with the AIs motor. We replaced it. The code cleared, and then when we drove it, It coded that code again. When it is cooler, ie in the evenings, and you drive it , it will not die. It runs very well until it decides to go through this fit. It did this last summer too, only not as often, and then never had a problem until this high heat and humidity showed up.
The car has spark after ithas died.
The odometer on the car has now quit, but the speedometer works.
Any suggestions for this ?
Please advise.

check your fuel pressure. it should be a minimum of 38 psi. you didnt put what engien you have in this so this is more generic than anything. clean the throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner as well as the idle air control valve.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that we checked the fuel pressure and it is good, we never loose the fuel pressure. The engine in this car is the 2.5L non turbo. We already cleaned the ais valve and the throttle plate.

you'll have to check your injectors as welll as crank and cam sensors to see if they are getting hot and not working properly..as well as coolant temp sensor, tps switch. actually the tps switch you might try the choke cleaner on that as it sticks sometimes casuing this.

This car has a distributor, not electronic ignition.

if it's a distributor make sure it is sending a signal to the pcm and then check your auto shutdown relay it may have poor contact or the relay is bad. it's listed as safety shutdown relay. pic included.
