Why are all my electronics playing up? Nissan Sentra 1991 GA14 - Recently battery has been loosing charge with in 3 days of driving about an hour a day. Battery tested fine. After circuit testing negative terminal (-) car appears to draw no power when not going( no fuse or bulb for interior light, no radio or stereo, no fuse for clock). Suspected Alternator issue though does seem to give some charge back as had a successful jump start the other day. I have put a fully charged battery in the Sentra this morning and it started fine and drove fine. How ever Dash, head, tail, indicator and brake lights wont work. I have tested all fuses and despite none of them have blown only power is supplied through the wipers, rear defog, audio and the air con. I have checked both relays under the dash and power is supplied through 1 terminal in both relays. All earth's seem to be connected. All plugs double checked. Terminals on battery tight, cables undamaged. I need a cheap do it yourself fix but im not sure what im dealing with. I've been told its a relay issue though I want to be sure. Please help.

If you are only getting power to the wipers, air con. Check to make sure the wiring to the fuse block under the hood is undamaged and the wiring from there is good. You need to work back to check where the power is lost. Also, check the diodes in the alt. It can produce power to charge, but if a diode is bad, it will allow power to flow back to ground and kill the battery over a couple days. Ine last thought, if the electrical is all good, you may want to have the body control module (BCM) checked.

In underhood fuse block, do you have battery voltage at fuse W and X?

At battery positive terminal, there is a fusible link, Gray color, check if it is broken.
