I was told the oil pan had a crack in it which has been causing the car to smoke when driven. How much would a repair be and how involved is it?

I believe on a 91, the engine needs to be lifted aprox 6" to remove the pan. If you purchase a new pan and pay labor, I would estimate the cost to be around 400.00. That can be different based on where you live.
