I have a 1991 nissan that isn't idleing right. A mechanic told me to replace the Idle air control motor. In doing so the problem is still there. It is still starting and trying to idle right but isn't staying alive. Any ideas?

Check that there is no unresolved fault codes still in the ECU, check for vacuum leaks and clean the throttle body, if the IAC has been replaced it may be a TPI sensor, coolant temp sensor or a vacuum leak.
