Car will not start because of security system?

1991 NISSAN 300ZX
10,000 MILES • 3.0L • 6 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

Installed new battery and when connecting positive the security system starts. Lights go on and off and horn blows. Car will not start because of security system.

Try locking and unlocking the driver's door with the key after hooking up the battery.

I did this early this morning. I finally realized that is what I was suppose to do.
