Removing and installing poly-V-belt

Preceding work:

Viscous fan clutch removed.

Slacken bolt (16) about 1/4-1/2 turn.
Slacken tensioning nut (5) (turn to the left).
Take off poly-V-belt (27).
Check belt pulley profiles for signs of damage and dirt replace if necessary (eg. worn bearing points of tensioning device, dents in belt pulleys etc.).
Caution! If poly-V-belt has broken or dropped off, check concentricity of shafts and belt pulleys.
Turn setting pointer (13) to marking (1) (arrow).
Fit poly-V-belt on beginning at tensioning pulley (1). Refer to routing diagrams. See: Diagrams
Caution! Do not use belt wax or similar products.
Tension tensioning nut (5) until setting pointer (13) is aligned with marking (2) (arrow). Pay attention to note
Tighten bolt (16) (75 Nm ).
Check seat of belt on belt pulleys.
