will not start back up after driving until it cools down?

My 91 Mercedes 300e 3.0 it sometimes stalls and does the same please help it often strands my wife and infant

Car was getting hot ended up cracking radiator replaced rad and pump it no longer gets hot also changed cap and rotor

on no start check for fuel pressure/delivery and spark.
