1991 Mazda 626 spark plugs

Spark plugs have oil on them valve gasket is leaking. One mechanic says to put new spark plugs and fix the oil leak $240.00. The other mechanic said valve sealants and fix leak $700.00 who is right ? Car is not smoking

Sounds like the spark plug tube seals are leaking. These would be included with a valvecover gasket set, and if left alone, could cause an engine misfire. Keep in mind, if the spark plug wires should be replaced also, as they will be oil logged.
