okay so my lexus ls400 has been not picking up speed when i hit the gas as it should and its making a rattling sound i smell gas outside the car when its on but therez no leak ....i dont know what to do ?can you help?

Have a pro look at this, it could be an evap problem for gas smell but would be better to be physically looked at. Is the Check Engine Light indicating? Does engine idle smoothly?
