cant start my landrover

hi i have a landrover discovery 1991 v8i that wont start since i have fitted a new starter motor i have fuel in the tank and a spark at the plugs there is no smell of petrol when turning it over can u help

These give a great deal of problems with the air flow meter, you will have to get a scan done to check for any unresolved fault codes, also ensure that you have fuel pressure at the rail.
