I have a 1991 Jeep YJ. 2.5L 4 cylinder. I have noticed a "chirpping" noise coming from the rear passenger side! It increases with speed! My questions is this... Could this be a berring or U joint related?

It really sounds like a "U" joint, but no promises!

Do you know how to check it?

Are you capable of replacing it?.....I can maybe help you with both.

My "U" joints cost between $12-$20....Install is not real hard but does require some simple tooling.

Imma CJ guy, I do not know much of your specific rig.

But I can help you generically.

Let me know your avenue.
