we don't list an xj40 but for an xjs the iginiton one is behind righ tkick panel and the fuel injection is on the right side of trunk

I was asking where the computer is for a 1991 sovereign xj40 help!!

I did send it to you they are right where I said in last reply. If you are not in U.S. we have only listings for xjs as well as xj6 which should be in similar positions. Are you sure this is a 1991 vehicle? this is the same as a an xjs in U.S. there are two one for ignition and one for fuel. they are listed above.

ok..the check engine light has been on for several days.what would be the problem?this is a us vehicle 1991 xj40 also known as xj6 it was built in Britain and then shipped to the us.

if the check engine light is on the it needs to be scanned for codes to see what area is screwing up so you can fix it. otherwise you are just trying to replace parts without actually knowing what is wrong. Have a pro do this.
