my alternator is brand new and battery tests good, but whether in use or sitting the battery is losing charge, i can get it jumped off but it immediately cuts back off

What is the charging voltage between battery terminals when engine is running?
What is the charging voltage between alternator main mast and ground?
Is there any abnormal belt noises when engine is running? Check the crank pulley for wavy movements and abnormal noise. If present, check if the harmonic damper is bad.
