can I replace the slave cylinder for the clutch myself or is it a workshop task?

I can see the master cylider ok but can't find the slave cylinder. The clutch has gone soft and the gear select is a bit difficult. am losing fluid slowly

we dont' have info for that vehicle but you can do it yourself. Make sure it isn't the clutch itself. the slave will be on the flywheel housing or near it. it could also be a hydraulic throwout bearing.
