cluth may be broken or gearbox not sure ?

my holden barina today when i shift in first gear and let go of clutch it makes a big crunch noise and it drops back straight to neutral by itself then my whole car rattles very badly then it gets jammed in 1st all the other gears are fine its only 1st ?. could this be a clutch problem or gearbox problem ?
if so how can i fix it myself ?
