I bought the truck 3moths ago everything was going fine until one day if was driving and as I accelerated I hear a loud grinding noise and a Burnt smell starts coming out. I checked the engine oil, transmission oil, and everything is fine, but I also noticed a squeaking noise started before this.

Check yore brakes it's probably the brake squealers you heard that stopped when the brakes were applied.

Thank you for your input but the noise happened while I was driving and the noise seemed to be coming from the front of the truck.

SNATCH YOUR BELTTURN ALL PULLEYS BY HAND LOOKING FOR NON-SMOOTH TURNINGSIDEWAYS TRAVEL/ MOVEMENT----WOBBLESEE IF THE INNER PART PART OF THE A/C COMPRESSOR PULLEY WILL TURN FREELY (THE COMPRESSOR MAY BE SEIZED. IT MAY BE ONLY LOCKING UP WHEN "A/C" OR "DEFROST MODES" ARE USED ON YOUR HVAC)

THE A/C PULLEY (CLUTCH) MAY TURN FREE IF THE COMPRESSOR IS LOCKED

COULD BE THAT DURING LOCK UP---THE BELT IS SMOKING
